Hoppr appoints former Synamedia executive Olivier Bastard as Chief Sales Officer

LAS VEGAS, 06 JANUARY 2026 – Hoppr, a leading innovator in addressable TV and targeted advertising solutions, today announced the appointment of Olivier Bastard as Chief Sales Officer (CSO), effective immediately.

Olivier joins Hoppr from Synamedia, Cisco and Canal+ and brings decades of experience across video technology, broadcast, telecom and global media partnerships. He has been working closely with the Hoppr team as a consultant since May 2025, giving him first-hand exposure to the platform, customers, and commercial opportunity as the business scales globally.

As CSO, Olivier will lead Hoppr’s global commercial strategy, overseeing sales, partnerships, and revenue growth as the company accelerates expansion across connected TV (CTV) and programmatic advertising markets.

George Gelavis, Executive Chairman of Hoppr, commented: “We are at an inflection point in the television advertising industry and our HopprTV platform is uniquely positioned to lead that transformation. Olivier has already proven his impact and securing a leader of his calibre reflects both the strength of our platform and the scale of the opportunity ahead. His experience at Synamedia and deep understanding of the global video ecosystem make him the ideal leader to drive our commercial growth. I’m thrilled to welcome Olivier to the leadership team.”

In his previous roles, Olivier managed large and complex engagements with major broadcasters, Pay TV operators, and video service providers worldwide. He brings a rare combination of technical depth and commercial leadership, enabling Hoppr to bridge the needs of advertisers, broadcasters, and network operators.

Olivier Bastard, Chief Sales Officer, added: “Having worked closely with the team over the past several months, I’ve seen first-hand the momentum behind Hoppr and the value it delivers to operators and advertisers alike. The ability to deliver highly targeted, addressable advertising without compromising the viewer experience is exactly what the market demands. I look forward to working with George and the team as we scale Hoppr globally.”

The appointment follows a strong period of growth for Hoppr in 2025. The company closed the year with 35 million screens contracted, including partnerships with StarHub and Ooredoo Qatar, and continues to build a robust commercial pipeline with further announcements expected in 2026.

Hoppr’s leadership team will be on the ground at CES in Las Vegas this week.
